Creating a Community Carpet-Cleaning Network

If your interested in having clean carpets, but want to make a minimal investment of your hard earned dollars, here's an idea a few like minded individuals can use to save hundreds of dollars over the life of their carpet. Have a carpet cleaning party ! Call your friends and family that share that same "Do It Yourself" drive and spirit, and invite them to "The First Annual Carpet Cleaning Party !" All you'll need to do is chip in a little money and muscle.

Your Party Supplies

Vacuum Cleaner
Carpet Shampooer
Cleaning Chemical
Spot and Stain Remover "kit" (chemical, cotton terry cloth, spotting brush)
Carpet Groomer

Fan

These are the basic tools a professional cleaner will carry. The cost of these can add up, however, by dividing the cost between your network of friends and family you will make a relatively small investment. Once you have your supplies, arrange a day or two and clean your carpets.

Note: f you don't want to make a long-term investment on professional chemicals and supplies, you could also just split the cost of quality rental equipment.

Party Locations

Where ever there's carpet, you can party. This will work exceptionally well in areas where your friends are your neighbors and when your family lives in the same city. With the advantage of a short distances you can cut the cost of driving from home to home. The professional carpet cleaner has to pay those high gas prices too, eventually we'll have to pass on the cost to the consumer.
