Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum

My intentions for using the Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum was to get some of spots out of the carpet from our dogs running in and out of the house making tracks. It does a wonderful job and it does it quickly. I almost wanted to do the whole carpet with the Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum, but didn't want to take a chance of overdoing it with this particular vacuum and continue to using my old one to do the complete floor with.

The Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum was designed for more of a spot-lift use compared to going from room to room with it throughout your home. You cannot hold anything this powerful in your hand for long periods of time. I try to locate all my bad spots on the carpet and come in with the Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum as quickly as possible. You won't fill it up as fast, using it like that.

Another reason the Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum is not designed for heavy use is because getting access to the main area you will need to clean is extremely difficult. You will have to have a screwdriver to take out at least three to four screws. Since I hardly put the Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum to heavy usage, I may end up cleaning it twice a year. It just depends on how much you choose to use this trash hungry machine.

Just by the Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum doing an excellent job on carpet, I decided to try it on a small portion of tiled floor. The results were exactly the same which was outstanding. It seems as long as you have a small portion of floor to vacuum with the Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum, it will do what you need it to do. A large area may give you lessened results.
