Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover: Best Product for Day-to-Day Stains

Living in a house with four medium-sized dogs, there are bound to be accidents. It is inevitable that sometimes they will do their business on the carpet. Having a carpet shampooer in the closet is great for big jobs and the occasional deep cleaning of the carpets, but no one wants to drag out the carpet shampooer every time something gets spilled on the carpet or one of the dogs has an accident. For day-to-day uses, the best cleaner, in my opinion, is Folex.

I first found this cleaner a few years ago when working for a home improvement retail chain. Many customers would inquire about a product that they could use on nearly any type of carpet to remove stains from food, children, or their pets. With at least ten different types of carpet spot removers on the shelf the problem was not in finding a spot remover but in finding one that could be used for multiple purposes. After trying several of the carpet cleaners in my own house I was down to one last option. Looking at the plain white bottle with the purple print and figuring that it would be as useless as most of the others I had tried, I put the Folex in my buggy and headed for home. Now nearly five years later I have at least two to three bottles in my cabinet at all times.

Folex is a product that I use nearly every day. It has multiple uses and will take virtually every stain out of your carpet or fabric. It does not matter if the stain is old or recent. Just a few sprays of Folex Cleaner and the spot disappears from the carpet. Minimal scrubbing of the spot is required for set in stains though most stains do not require any scrubbing to remove. The product label recommends using your fingers to agitate the spot once the cleaner has been sprayed. No rinsing of the area is required after use as it is with many other spray spot removers and all you need is a paper towel to blot up any excess liquid on the carpet.

According to the label Folex is an instant carpet spot remover that can be used on pet accidents, grease, ink, red wine, blood, rust, food, cosmetics, dirt, grime, and most old stains. In addition Folex can also be used to clean upholstery and also with your carpet cleaning machine.
