How to Keep Carpet Clean in Your Home

We try and take proper care of our carpet but sometimes unavoidable accidents can happen. And just not thinking before we walk into our home with dirty shoes. We need to keep our carpet as clean as possible. Getting dirt and stains out of carpet is sometimes very aggravating. Wondering how to get out a grease stain out or worse. Especially on light colored carpet where every little thing shows. Our pets can also leave stains on our carpet keeping us busy cleaning them. When we walk into our homes without wiping our feet or kicking off our shoes we can sometimes track in dirt and grime from the outside. We can clean out these dirty grimy stains from our carpet and be more careful about what we track in on our floors because the clean up job can sometimes be frustrating for the one that has to clean it up. Here are a few ways to keep your carpet cleaner and take those dirty stains out of your carpeting.

First of all when you come in to your home if you have carpet wipe your feet. Put out a mat and make sure your feet are clean before you step into the house. It is best to take your shoes off at the door if you can. Set aside a small place at the door to put your shoes and your visitors shoes. Vacuum your carpet daily to get dried up dirt out of your carpeting. Vacuuming also picks up other things on your carpet like lent and debris that gets tracked into your home. Vacuuming on a regular basis can make the air cleaner in your home. If your carpet is really dirty use a carpet cleaner to shampoo your carpet. This will take out most of the dirt and stains from your carpet making it look new again. And it will make it clean looking and smell fresh. If you don't own a carpet cleaner you probably know someone who does or you can rent one if need be. It is not real expensive to rent one at your local supermarket or department store.
