Since time has been flying by so quickly since this New Year, it's finally here, the season so many songs, poems, and other literary works have been written about on this lovely time of year called spring. Now that it's finally upon us, the weather is to be warmer, spring break will be occurring for many college students at various beachside resorts, and then there is spring cleaning. That is the most dreaded part of spring for many of you, but it can be very rewarding when all the cleaning is finished. However, it is getting to that part of motivating yourself with spring cleaning that's going to be challenging. There is one room in whatever dwelling you reside in that tends to be neglected in spring cleaning chores that will be the focus and that is the bedroom. Many tend not to clean their bedroom very often, as it isn't as heavily utilized or visited by strangers like the living room or kitchen. Nevertheless, it is a room you personally spend a great deal of time every night in for approximately eight hours of sleeping. Dusting:

Begin at the very top with dusting ceiling corners and the entire ceiling area, including ceiling fans and air vents (if you have them).

Continue dusting and cleaning framed artwork, photographs, mirrors, or other wall hangings. Don't forget doorknobs or handles.

Be sure to dust and clean all of your desks, bureaus, chests, lamps, books, bookshelves, and anything else that collects dust in your bedroom.

If you have window blinds dust them down as well as the window sills and corners.

Washing:

Once the dusting chores are finished with take down draperies and curtains to wash or dry clean per washing instructions.

Wash all bed linens, comforters, bedspreads, mattress pads, pillows, rugs, etc.

Be sure to wash the inside and the outside of your bedroom windows. Remember to take down window screens for cleaning.
