Using the self cleaning option on the Electrolux gas range requires very little effort thanks to the high tech computerized touch screen. Important things you should know before getting started on the Electrolux Self Cleaning Oven Option. 1. Self cleaning takes a few hours from start to finish. Do not expect to use the oven for cooking for several hours no matter what level of cleaning you choose. The Electrolux oven will stay locked for safety even after the self clean option has finished until the oven reaches a safe temperature. 2. Do not leave the Electrolux luxury glide racks in the oven during cleaning. You will damage the ball bearings inside the luxury racks that make them glide. I do not recommend leaving the stationary bottom rack in the Electrolux oven during cleaning either. 3. Remove any easy to remove food and residues from the oven to prevent damage to the Electrolux oven blue enamel interior with a sponge. In my experience the blue enamel is quite durable but I do not recommend leaving any hot sticky drippings from apple pie or anything else on the enamel just in case. Basic Instructions for Electrolux Self Cleaning Oven: 1. Remove all oven racks. 2. Close the oven door. 3. Push the self cleaning option on the oven on the computerized panel on the Electrolux oven. 4. Choose which level of cleaning you desire. 5. Press start. 6. Watch the computer panel on the Electrolux oven for information regarding time and temperature. 7. Do not attempt to open the Electrolux oven door during self cleaning mode. The door will be locked and forcing the door may damage the door. 8. Press the cancel button should you need to stop the self cleaning option for any reason.

We have a labradoodle that was not "supposed to shed". He sheds. A lot. Thick, black, curly hair. We also have a springer lab that sheds about half her coat ever day, it seems. The hair is never ending. One day, I was out of the house. I received a call from my fiancee. Their was an incident. Our old vacuum was now on fire. There were blue flames, he said. He said he was okay, and the dogs were unharmed. We knew it was time...it was time to purchase the Dyson vacuum we have always dreamed of. We put the old vacuum on the curb (only to have our neighbors assume it worked just fine and steal it from the curb...I'm sure they too experienced the blue flames). We then found one of those fabulous 20% off coupons from Bed Bath and Beyond. If we were going to spend a good chunk of change on a vacuum, we would use the coupon! It was brilliant. We were very excited. Taking off around 8 pm to a store that closed at 9:30, we figured we'd be fine. But no, we were wrong. We get there, and they did not have the Dyson DC15 Animal, like they said. They had the regular Dyson vacuums. They are all great also, but we wanted the animal one. We have animals. We NEEDED the animal one. We asked the sales person to call around to other stores. As if it was some sort of quest to get the vacuum that NIGHT. (The house gets furry w/ two shedders). She found one, at a store 30 minutes away. By this time, it was at least 8:45 p.m. We jumped in the car, and raced to the other store. I said to my fiancee that if we get pulled over, we'd ask the cop first if he could take us to get the vacuum. We arrive at about 9:23. I jumped out of the car, practically Dukes of Hazard style. I raced to the vacuum shelf, only to not find a Dyson Animal DC 15. A look of fear and paranoia came over me, and a sales person quickly came over and asked if I was the one looking for the vacuum. YES! I am the one! Do you have the Dyson DC 15 Animal??? They did. They had pulled it aside, in the back room. They brought it out, and we proudly brought it to the counter and purchased the vacuum. We drove home and put together the vacuum immediately.
We turned on the vacuum. It was amazing. It was the most powerful sucking machine I had ever used in my life. 17 pounds of dog hair quickly filled the vacuum (okay, maybe not THAT much..but we soon realized all of our old vacuums had not been doing the 'job'). It is a pure suction. The Dyson Animal 15 does not lose suction, like all the other Dyson vacuums. This particular model has several attachments for picking up pet hair. It's Mini turbine head Cleans pet hair and dirt from confined spaces. It has a Low reach floor tool For easier cleaning under low furniture such as beds and sofas. It has a carpet care kit. The Brush control function turns off the brush to protect delicate floors and thin rugs. This vacuum is smart, and flexible. It's flexible range of motion makes it easy to get into confined spaces. It is also not that heavy at all. It has a lifetime HEPA filter and is approved for allergy sufferers. Of course the vacuum is bagless, like so many of the good vacuums today. The dirt container lifts off easily and with the touch of a button it all comes out of the bottom into your garbage. Be careful not to accidentally touch the button and spill all over your floor! The vacuum has a quick-release telescopic wand that expands for instant cleaning. It works perfect for the spider webs on high ceilings.
The Dyson DC 15 Animal is worth the money. You get what you pay for. This vacuum is a powerful vacuum, and I think you'll love it.
