An Overview of HEPA Filters, Ozone Purifiers and Ionic Air Cleaners

Ionic air cleaners are a great asset to anyone's home, business, office or even their car. The air purifiers make your rooms and car smell clean and fresh without adding perfume smell.

Air purifiers have become more and more popular over the years due to that people have homes that are literally sealed tight, to save money on energy costs. Cars are also sealed shut tight when you close the door. This traps the air inside and can cause your home to become stuffy and stale smelling or smelling of odors that cant get out because, well you trapped them in.

When your home or building is sealed this tightly, contaminates such as mold can grow. Chemicals used in things such as paint, glue, cigarette smoke, and fumes from your heaters or furnaces, accumulate. Also there are fumes from new furniture, such as the press board that items are made of from the stores, and these also contaminate the air you breath.

As the air passes through your home or building, it then carries the pollutants throughout it, contaminating the entire building. With saying this, you may be cleansing the air coming into your home, but not the air that is in it circulating from one room to another, picking up and carrying more contaminates as it passes through. Some mold contaminets are deadly, and depending on allergies, mold can cause death of anyone, by creating breathing problems.

Indoors air pollutants include particles of dust that get carried into the home on peoples clothes and feet, on pets, and in air conditioners and central heaters. Other particles are carried through your home in water droplets. About 99% of these particles are invisible to the naked eye and can easily be breathed in.
