Electrolux EL6988D Oxygen3 Canister Vacuum Cleaner Review

When it comes to quality the Electrolux EL6988D Oxygen3 canister vacuum cleaner seems like an "unstable" product. I've heard so many complaints about this vacuum breaking apart just after six month and at the same time other owners of this same model say just how sturdy and dependable this model is. It made me think that maybe there's a problem somewhere in Electrolux's Quality Control department.
If you're not sure about whether you should buy this canister vacuum or not just read the pros and cons discussed in this article and decide afterwards.
Pros
Out of the box this canister need some assembly but it is a snap since the pieces can be connected easily. After you turn it on you can see that the suction power is very good. Dust, crumbs, dirt, hair and whatever little stuff you have on your carpet will be sucked in easily. Even when you are only using half of its max power the suction is really powerful.
Despite its high power this nice looking vacuum is very quiet so if everyone is watching TV and you want to do some quick cleanups they won't complain at all.
If you or someone in your home has allergy this vacuum would be a big help since it is already using HEPA H12 filtration system. HEPA filtration can capture 99.97% of fine dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns. You can be sure that most of the allergens floating around you will be trapped by the filter and it will stay there. The HEPA filter is washable and it will last for at least 2 years.
The other good things about this vacuum is that the buttons are hand-controlled instead of foot-controlled, sturdy power head, light to help you vacuum in the dark and a low profile which makes it easy to vacuum under furniture and bed.
