Eureka Springs, Arkansas Tourist Information

Eureka Springs, Arkansas has been a destination for many travelers. Each Spring, Summer, and Fall thousands of people take the scenic drive up Highway 62 and fall in love with the cozy mountain town. There are many places to stay in Eureka Springs, and some that are more opulent than others. One popular destination is the Crescent Hotel. While it is a true luxury spot, and definitely worth a visit, there are some even more charming places to stay for those who know the area.

One such place is Morrell Mountain Log Cabins. Each Cabin was hand built by the Morrell family. This place is just a little off the beaten path located on Country Road 317, but is still nestled close to town.

I have personally visited the cabins and their simple rustic charms are very well suited to the Eureka Springs Area. The cabin that I had the pleasure of seeing was decorated with beautiful hand made log furniture. Amenities included a 6 foot Jacuzzi style baths, spacious back porches, and full kitchens. There is also a large pool located on the property.

Morrell Mountain is a good destination for not only lovers, but families as well. The family that operates the establishment is very dependable, and courteous to their guests. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay for those who want to enjoy the comforts of being near town, but just a little off the beaten path.

Dining in Eureka Springs may be a little daunting. There are numerous restaurants and delis in the area. It takes a real insider to know what establishments are the best values for your money.
