Purchasing a Low-Cost Vacuum Filter Online

When I considered buying a new F1 High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filter for my Dirt Devil Vision bagless vacuum cleaner, I decided to purchase a new filter online rather than pay around $19.99-$24.99 retail price for a new filter. It is also my experience that some vacuum filters are hard to find in stores.

My vacuum cleaner's original filter was non-washable, so I wanted a filter that was washable and reusable. I also wanted to purchase a high quality filter that was designed to strict HEPA standards at a reasonable price. Filters that are designed to strict HEPA standards must trap at least 99.97% of particles, such as dust mite feces, animal dander, mold, and pollen, down to 0.3 microns. The filter prohibits the re-release of the particles into the air after they are captured.

I searched Amazon.com using the phrase "dirt devil vacuum filter". The top ranked item in the search results was the Dirt Devil 3JC0280000 Universal HEPA Filter for Bagless Uprights. I read the product specifications to ensure that the filter would fit my vacuum, and then I read the product reviews. The reviews were largely positive, and various reviewers mentioned the strength of the customer service they received. I decided to purchase the filter through an authorized Amazon.com dealer named KillDirt for $10.30. Shipping was free and the filter arrived in the mail within five days of ordering it.

According to the packaging, the filter was manufactured by a company named Crucial Vacuum. I was impressed by the professional look of the packaging.
