WOMAN'S CARPET BUSINESS KEEPS FAMILY UNDERFOOT PSYCHIATRIST OPTS TO FOLLOW IN HER MOTHER'S FOOTSTEPS.


LYNNHAVEN - In a colorful sea of woven fabrics, Monica Deitell sits sifting through pictures and dreaming up designs. Swirls of color and hand-drawn patterns add highlights to Deitell's day.

As owner of D'Vora Fine Oriental Carpets, Deitell surrounds herself with the best carpets she finds. Stacks of carpet line the walls of the small shop in Chambord Commons.

``Working with these carpets is so exciting because there are so many design possibilities,'' said Deitell, of Innlynnview. ``It is endless.''
