Lemon juice rinses work well in cleaning and deodorizing. Lemon peel can be used to help remove odors from a garbage disposal. It is best to pack the garbage disposal with ice cubes first and run them through without turning on the water. Then place the peelings from a few lemons in and turn the disposal on for about 60 seconds. Then run water through the disposal for a minute or two.
