Believe it or not, West Virginia is an awesome place to visit in the winter time. They are great ski resorts that are just waiting for you to try. They had a huge area before, so can you imagine what it looks like now. They now have a triple life chair that has access to a 815 foot slope with a 168 foot vertical drop. They have brand new skis, snowboards and boots to rent this year. Friendly instructors are available for lessons if you have never skied before but would love to try. They are celebrating their 35th anniversary this winter. They offer 37 ski slopes. After a day on the slopes retire to one of their cabins or cottages for the ultimate experience.
