Fall Cleaning

This is the time of year to get all the cleaning products out for your home. Spring time and fall are the times of year when the pollen, mold and allergens are high. you time to clean or you can do it on the weekend.

You should take everything placed up high down and clean it. High nicknacks, ceiling fans, pictures, light bulbs are the most duster items in the home. Start cleaning the top to bottom. Clean out your closets and donate items that do not fit nomore. Empty out your draws and get rid of things that are old and have holes. Take all your dishes out and give them a good washing.

Clean out the fridge from all that sticky juice and throw away out dated items. Wash down all your walls, windows, and floors. You want to clean the dusty and moldy parts of the house first. Have yoour carpets cleaned every 6 months.You can track in dirt and that can make you and the children sick. If you own pets you should get them groomed every 2-3 months. They track in dirt as well and also fleas and ticks.

Wash all clothing in warm water if in comtact with the animals.Clean out your vacuum cleaning always because this is what picks up all them germs and dirt. Some vacumms have tanks instead of bags. You can clean them inside.You are likely to get sick in the home than outdoors. Sometime what we breathe in are dangerous. The dangerous things in your home that have the most bacteria and germs are:

The telephone, we breathe on it all the time.
The garbage bins, there are spills.
Toothbrushes, buy a new one every month. Never keep them together.
The bathtub, need to bleach out the tub/shower once a week.
The toilet, has the most germs in the house.
Cutting boards, the need to be washed in hot water every time.

You need to clean, scrub, bleach and polish your home once a week. Fall cleaning can be down little by little. You can buy products for cleaning or make your own. Every room in the house needs to be cleaned well. Here are some tips for each room.
