Supplies:
vacuum cleaner
essential oil (any scent you desire)
baking soda
Directions:
Add approximately 15 drops of essential oil to a cup of baking soda. Mix the two together well, breaking up any clumps that may have formed. Sprinkle the mixture over the carpet. Let the mixture sit for at least 15 minutes, then vacuum.
Tips: If you have pets in the home, add a 1/2 cup of borax to help keep fleas away.

clean white towel
salt
borax
vinegar
Directions:
Mix a 1/2 cup of borax, a 1/2 cup of salt and a 1/2 cup of vinegar into a paste. Use the clean towel to rub the paste into the stain and let it set for an hour or two. Then, thoroughly vacuum the area.

To remove the fresh stain, blot the area with paper towels to absorb the liquid. Spray the area quite liberally with the stain removal formula and again, use paper towels to soak up the excess liquid. Let the carpet dry. Repeat if necessary.
