I was thrilled to find that good ole Santa Claus had left me a hand vacuum under the tree. Those elves really did well making the Dirt Devil Quick Power Hand Vac that I unwrapped on Christmas morning. Christmas is a wonderful time of the year but it leaves your house with little pieces of paper, pine needles, and other small items strewn al over the place. As I live in a house shared with three cats, a dog, and a teenager I often have the occasion to clean up little messes. My son and I hobbies of fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, biking, fossil and arrowhead hunting, and other outside stuff also leaves little trails of debris through the house. Santa really knew what I needed!
The Dirt Devil Quick Power Hand Vac is a nice hand vacuum. While it is heavier than I expected it to be, that is usually a good sign of power and durability. To get ready to use the Dirt Devil Quick Power Hand Vac needs to be charged (follow directions!). The charger that comes with the hand vacuum is designed to be hung on a wall and was very easy to install. The charger can also lay on a flat surface for those who prefer not to mount it on the wall. The charger came with a long power cord that makes the placement of the charger more flexible.
Operation of the Dirt Devil Quick Power Hand Vac is extremely simple. Take the hand vacuum off of the wall, slide the power button on and start hitting the mess! The Dirt Devil Quick Power Hand Vac comes with a nifty feature that allows access into crevices and other small areas. The built in crevice tool is released by a button and flipped and slide into place. The tool extends the nozzle about 4 inches. When you are done you slide the tool out and flip it back into place. You have nothing that comes off to lose.
