How to Keep Your Home Clean with Little Effort Keep Your Home Clean Without Extra Stress

So you want to keep your home clean and tidy; but don't have hours to clean day after day? Well, let me tell you how you can keep a clean home with little effort. The first thing that you want to do is set a timer for one hour, spend this hour cleaning anything that is very messy. This would include any trash on floors, tables, etc. Next you will need to spend about 10 minutes sweeping and mopping up the floors. Next it will help to use a few large laundry bins to separate clothes; a basket for whites, lights, and darks. This will cut down on time when you are ready to wash clothes.
I know that to spend an hour cleaning sounds like a long amount of time, but it will fly by. You will see that these few steps have instantly made your home appear much cleaner in a small amount of time. So now that you have tackled the messiest things, you will only need to do a little here and there. While you are waiting for your morning cup of coffee, load the dish washer or wash dishes until the coffee has brewed. Before you take a shower before bed, spend about five minutes wiping up the counter top and tidying up the bathroom. On your laundry day while the first load is washing; spend that time organizing your drawers and closets. Clean a little whenever you find that you are waiting for something; this is time well spent. For example: waiting for that casserole to finish for dinner? Tidy up the kitchen. Waiting for a phone call? Spend that time changing the bed sheets and tidying up the dresser.
If you spend a few minutes cleaning whenever you find yourself waiting on something, your home will always be neat. Besides you never know when someone will "just be in the neighborhood."
