Nashville's Red Carpet Rats Named Official "Spokesband" for Tennessee Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America

Red Carpet Rats (RCR) will serve as the new "spokesband" for PCAT, providing entertainment at the charity's events, speaking at local school assemblies and mentoring young fathers as part of "The Kids Don't Come With Instructions" program. The band will also be create TV and radio Public Service Announcements to help familiarize the community with PCAT's mission.

Through this partnership, RCR will join PCAT in celebrating their 25th Anniversary of service to the community and RCR's latest single "Photographic Memory" will be featured as the organization debuts their catalog of "Photographic Memories, 25 Years in the Making." Additionally, the band will kick off PCAT's annual winter fundraiser, The Jingle Bell 5K Run with an outdoor concert.

RCR's motto of "Dream big, work hard and good things will come your way," coincides with the goals of PCAT, which include helping parents, young and old, succeed in all areas of their lives, including parenting their children.

Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee is a statewide organization dedicated to preventing the abuse and neglect of Tennessee's children by working with parents, professionals and communities to provide education, resources, programs and services that strengthen families. Operating Tennessee's statewide Domestic Violence Hotline and Parent Helpline they provide direct services address the immediate needs of families. Other programs include parenting support groups, child abuse prevention community trainings, and interventions to prevent injuries to infants and young children.
