We have five cats, and they occasionally get sick on the carpeting. I have tried several spot cleaning products, carpet cleaning sprays and everything I could find, and none of them cleaned as well as Resolve High Traffic Carpet Cleaner.
Resolve High Traffic Carpet Cleaner comes in a 22 ounce can, and when you have a stain on the carpeting, you just spray it on, leave it for a few minutes, and then scrub it a bit. Once it dries, you vacuum it up. The stain is gone completely.

When we bought our house the carpeting was reasonably new and naturally, it is light beige. With pets, and kids, you get accidents, spills, and pets getting sick. I repeated the application of the Resolve High Traffic Carpet Cleaner and once I vacuumed it up again, it had removed the dirty areas.
